Well what can we say that hasn’t already been said? Well let’s start with a big thank you to Luke Harding and #TeamHarding for marshalling and supporting the event and in turn allowing us to support Luke’s fundraising efforts, he certainly picked a good one to come along to, we hope to see you again and we really appreciated Luke’s efforts in standing out on the finish line till the end, your fight makes a 4 mile battle through the freezing ponds and icy mud a little less dramatic! The Amman Adventure 2017 Well the last rider was in literally 8 hours before the hurricane Ophelia struck Wales! which would of put that “slight” headwind through the Beacons into context! The event is very simple, A four mile route with 3 “modest climbs!” an exhilarating rib ride to the starting point, which was made a little bit more special due to the high tide and lively swell in the sound! All of which made alighting the craft a “do I keep my lifejacket on” moment! The route itself is challenging but spectacular

But whatever the event that kicked it all off is no more! Yesterday was the finale and what can we say!!! Well I’m not sure if its age catching up with everyone or the fear that Phil Stonelake was going to show up and beat everyone one more time but the “competitive bunch” all decided to form teams, with much thought going into tactics and formations and little for friendships. With

The Really Muddy Weekend Really lived up to it’s name! with a week of baking sun and more danger of a bush fire amongst the amazon like jungle that was growing around the farms than a mud slide we were beginning to get worried about the course!!! But fear not in the early hours of the event the sky’s opened and created a mud bath!!!!
