Since retiring from professional rugby, Shane has become a valued ambassador for Velindre Cancer Centre and quite the endurance sport Athlete, having gone sub 12 in Ironman Wales and entered the Guiness book of records with his endevours on Mount Everest. Part of his great charity work is heading up Muuk Adventures Tour de Shane Cycle Sportive, held in St Davids Pembrokeshire

The Ras Dewi Sant Marathon, Half, Ultra and 10K runs start and finish in Britain’s smallest City, St Davids. Whilst the routes take in some of the most Iconic landmarks and views on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. These runs are challenging and spectacular.

The Swim to the Edge Series are a variety of Swims off the West Coast of Wales all in beautiful, yet challenging locations. They are ones for the open water enthusiasts
