To ensure your organisation, company or sports club gets the best out or our first aid packages. We will make them specific to your needs and location.
The courses will still cover the set criteria to ensure your first aiders meet the required standards, but we will add extras to ensure your staff or members think about the environment they will be working in and the incidents they are most likely to deal with.
The areas we can assist.
Sports Clubs
Contact sports present their own dangers and the types of incidents you are likely to deal with. Head Injuries, Breaks/fracture, Internal injuries, bleeding and spinal are all a real danger. Meaning practices and structures should be put into place to deal with such incidents
We also look at what kit you need to carry and practical scenarios, like how do you manage an incapacitated casualty on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon.
Construction Sites
Construction site first aiders need to be prepared for serious injury. These include major trauma, catastrophic bleeding, crush injuries, and anything else. The locations where injuries occur are not in the classroom and we will look at how to operate on a site and how to manage the dangers to the first aider, casualty and other staff.
Remote Areas
Ideal for those working in the outdoors such as Mountain Leaders and Activity instructors. Looking at what kit you will have to your disposal, what you should carry, communication strategies, environmental challenges and decision making.
Hostile/Dangerous Environments
What is a hostile or dangerous environment? It can be anything from working in the Nighttime economy, Motorways, dealing with conflict, public order or unstable areas. If you think this could be you or your team, please contact us
Care facilities / Schools
Physiologically Adults and Children differ and therefore need to be treated accordingly. If you work within these environments our child/Pediatric specific course may well suit you better.
There are many working environments and they all have their own risks. Therefore industry specific training is a valuable tool. Role specific Risk Assessments will determine the level of first aider you have, the training they receive and what kit is to readly to hand.
