An Overview

The Emergency First Aid at Work – 1 Day (EFAW) Course. Is what is says on the tin and recognised by the Health and Safety Executive. It is the entry level course for empoyees.

Our goal is to ensure that all trainees will be confident to provide emergency aid for any incident or medical emergency that presents itself. The important factor for any first aider is – “Do the basics well”. And that is what we strive for.

Corporate / Group Bookings

We can accommodate your orgainisation at our centre in St Davids or at a venue of your choice. Typically the day will last from 9 am to 4.30pm. The session will be a mixture of Class room based learning and practical scenarios and application. For private groups we will tailor it to your orgainisations needs.

Assessment and Certification

The course is certificated and regulated by Ofqual. The assessment process is by continuously monitoring throughout the course. There is no final exam or formal assessment. A certificate in EFAW (Valid for 3 years) will be issued to all who successfully pass the the course.

The current guidelines strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months.
