The Welsh 3000s, 15 peaks of Snowdonia that stand over 3000 ft in under 24hrs

The Welsh 3000s is a step up from The 3 Peaks. Very fit mountain walkers can complete it within 24hrs, For those who want to experience the challenge of taking on the terrain and exploring the Snowdonia ranges at a more manageable pace we also offer a 48 and 72 hour version.

The Welsh 3000s – What to Expect

You will have to be confident in covering approximately 30 miles on foot across some of the harshest terrain known, whilst taking on steep ground and exposed ridges such as Crib Coch. The challenge will physically and mentally push you with the reward being in completing it!.

Why Use MUUK-Adventures?

This is a tough challenge that requires excellent navigation skills and good local knowledge. Taking a wrong turn, when tired or in poor weather can seriously hinder your chances of completing the challenge. Our guide will ensure navigation is not an issue. You will also find yourself in exposed and isolated areas, having the support of one of our guides will make the process of dealing with any unforseen incidents more robust.

Further to that our packages really are bespoke. Prior to the event we will work with you managing all the logistics, to enure your focus can solely be on the challenge.

What Order Is Best?
There are a couple of options, we will discuss with you our preferred route in the build up to the event but will be adaptable enough to pick the most appropriate on the day that allows the best chance of completing the challenge for your group, taking into consideration the weather and daylight hours available.

Who is it Suitable for?

The Welsh 3000s is ideal as a group challenge. But each person within the group must be mountain fit and expereinced in hiking at pace up and down peaks. You will have to maintain a pace of no slower than 45 minute miles with minimum rest over 24hrs. If this is too quick, but you still want to take on the challenge please consider the 48/72hr options.
