Which trip Is it Suitable for you and your group?

The St Davids Peninsular has some of the best sea kayaking in the world and our trips offer a great introduction to kayaking on the sea in a safe environment.

1) Kayaking at the Blue Lagoon, Abereiddy, Near St Davids – £40pp

This kayaking trip is ideal for, families, beginners and those wanting a leisurely paddle around the spectacular Abereiddy bay.

The trips operate twice a day

0930hrs and 1330hrs and we recommend that you allow for 3 to 4hrs on site and approx 2hrs on the water.

We will take you on a trip, to explore the caves and inlets of the bay, which are steeped in history with cliffs and rock formations that are geological master pieces. Whilst searching for some of the sea and marine life that habitat the area. But please be aware, it is not a zoo and we can not guarantee what we see!

Using Abereiddy Bay for our trips also means we have the added delight of passing by the old flooded slate quarry, which has become an adventure sports hub, known as the blue lagoon. If the tides are right we can paddle into the Lagoon, and for the adventurous you can get out of the kayak and have a jump off some of the towers.

2) Kayaking Adventure Day. – £80pp

This trip is ideal for all, The paddling is at a leisurely pace, but be mindful that you will be on the session for about 6 hrs, so a good level of stamina is required.

The Adventure day starts by meeting at our St Davids HQ at 0930hrs, From here we will be briefed on the journey ahead and get kitted up. Depending on sea conditions and wind, we will either be heading anywhere along the coast from Newgale to Fishaguard. This is a great section of the coast line that will see us. Paddle along the high sea cliffs of the Pembrokeshire Coast line, whilst exploring the the many caves, coves and harbours. We will stop for lunch along the way and even have the chance of a snorkle or some fishing if you like.

If you take the lunch option, we will contact you re dietary requirements. However you are more than welcome to bring your own and we will privide dry bags for you to carry it in.

Both Trips

There really is no better way to enjoy the natural beauty of the Pembrokeshire coastline, than sat in a kayak and looking up. This topped with a MUUK Adventure guide leading the way and filling you in on the history and legends of the area. All of which really does make the trips suitable for all the family.

Age range

The minimum age is 8 years and above.

Although the paddling is gentle, young children can find both trips physically demanding. We would therefore recommend that anyone under 13 (if never paddled) is on a double kayak with an adult. If your party has an uneven number, please ask us and we try to accommodate with one of our guides assisting with a double kayak.

If you have any questions about this or anything to do with kayaking Pembrokeshire please contact us or speak to us on the day and we can advise.

The elder statesman of the team, but without doubt has more energy than all of us put together, the original Duracell bunny.

Jeff a former chief scout, breaks the mold of the team, as he is originally from the valleys but has been a Pembrokeshire resident for 20 years so almost a local. Jeff, has many a successful business behind him. is an Ironman, a keen kayaker (good job really) and a great, great story teller, which you will find out on any of his sessions.

And just to show his versatility Jeff is also known as “Twinkle Toes” because he is a salsa dance instructor, and a very slick dresser.

Fintan Godkin age, mid 40’s

He was 10 when the company started up and has pretty much been involved in everything since then. Another one who likes to spread his wings and travel in the winter.  When at home for the winter he turns out as a regular for St Davids RFC as possibly the tallest scrum half in the league at 6’3”.

The boys absolutely loved kayaking!! Their guide Jeff was brilliant, really knowledgeable and friendly, couldn’t of asked for a better service. Value for money would defiantly visit and do again, highly recommend.

We had absolutely the best time taking a 2 hour guided kayaking session a few weeks ago – very informative and great fun – best of all, the we were able to take our 9 year old Yorkshire terrier out in the kayak and she had a great time too!!! Fabulous morning, lovely people – thank you

We’re a couple of oldies (65+) who went on a three hour kayak tour with Jeff. There were two others on the trip. It was an excellent experience which was all down to our knowledgable and experienced leader. Jeff gave us just the right blend of instruction (none of the group were kayakers), inspiration, and excitement. It was a long trip so you need a bit of stamina, especially on the long paddle across the mouth of the bay, but Jeff cleverly gave some extra instruction to the weakest of the group and then told her to lead us across the wide expanse of water.
I would recommend this trip, and Jeff, to anyone who wants to explore this part of the coastline.

On behalf of Pembrokeshire Youth Service would like to say a big thank you to Finton and his team for running a variety of activities throughout the summer for the young people signed onto our summer programme. Our young people (aged 11-16) took part in coasteering, surfing and kayaking. We booked a number of weekly sessions throughout the summer and MUUK were very flexible and accommodated all our requirements. We had a range of young people with varying abilities and the staff ensured they catered to the needs of each individual. They provided a fun and safe environment, which ensured the young people enjoyed every session. Overall, they provided an incredible experience and we cannot recommend MUUK Adventures highly enough

Life in the old dog yet !
Enjoyed the kayaking around the bay with some swimming and coasteering included! Felt safe at all times and although started off in a double kayak my grandson was able to swop to a single as he got fed up with his 73 year old grandmother moaning about his need for speed. Great trip with bays and caves and a visit to the Blue Lagoon through the channel. Lots of knowledge shared about the geology and the area. All in all a great trip. Thank you.

Email review from Carole Doran

Just spent a lovely morning kayaking around the bay at Aberieddy and blue lagoon, guided by Harvey. Many thanks for an informative relaxing paddle Harvey and I would heartedly recommend your judgement of customers capabilities whilst still allowing for the opportunity to paddle faster or slower without any pressures. If staying longer I would gladly do the trip again.
Kind regards
Carole Doran
