Coasteering at the Blue Lagoon Abereiddy

Abereiddy, is a real treasure in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It’s the home of The spectacular Blue Lagoon, which is an old flooded slate quarry. The Blue Lagoon is one of the original Coasteering sites from back in the 1980’s when the activity was commercially invented in St Davids.

Since these early days the venue has developed into a mecca for adventure seekers from across the UK and beyond. In 2012 it was used for the first of three occasions to host The Redbull, World Series Cliff Diving Championships. All of which makes coasteering blue lagoon Abereiddy a great adventure.

Coasteering Blue Lagoon Abereiddy – Need to Know

• Sessions Mornings 0930 hrs and Afternoons 1330 hrs
• Allow for 3 hours on site
• We meet at Abereiddy Beach Car Park, SA626BT
• All kit is provided but please bring your own trainers/footwear and spare shorts to wear over wetsuit!
• Minimum age 8 years

Coasteering – What you need to Know

• We run sessions daily from Abereiddy Beach Car Park or MUUK-Adventures Offices, St Davids, 1st of April until 1st November. During School Holidays sessions fill up quickly
• The starting times are 9.30am & 1.30pm
• Sessions last approximately 3hrs from arrival to departure (on average it is approximately 1hr 30 mins to 2 hrs in the water. In rough and cold conditions the session time will be managed on the group’s ability, As the rough and cold can take it out of you physically.)
• We try our best to match mixed groups, with persons of similar ability for the best experience possible. However, if you have got a group of 8 or more and would like a private session please contact us.
• Our online booking system will allow you to select available session times, date and make multiple bookings
• We provide the wetsuit and all the safety kit you need. For your comfort and best experience, our wetsuits are 5mm winter suits. We also have wetsuit socks, hats and cags available for those who suffer from the cold.
• We are AALA Registered with the Health and Safety Executive and therefore can legally take unaccompanied children under the age of 18, Coasteering.
• We try to keep our prices as low as possible, but still offer a great service, This means that discounts are only offered to groups of 6 persons or more via request.
