🌊 The Adventure Begins…
Join us for The Ramsey Island 3 Peaks, an unforgettable evening race that starts with a thrilling boat ride across the legendary Ramsey Sound, known for its swirling currents and rugged beauty. Departing from St Justinian, runners will cross to Ramsey Island, a protected RSPB nature reserve teeming with wildlife and dramatic coastal scenery.
Once ashore, the challenge begins: a 4.5-mile trail run that ascends the island’s three iconic peaks, winding through heather-covered hills, rocky paths, and panoramic sea views.
🏞️ The Route
- Peak 1: Carn Ysgubor Llundain – The island’s highest point, offering sweeping views of the Pembrokeshire coast.
- Peak 2: Carn Llundain – A rugged climb with dramatic cliffside vistas.
- Peak 3: Foel Fawr – A final ascent before descending toward the landing point.
The course is a mix of single-track trails, grassy slopes, and rocky climbs. Expect elevation, wind, and wild beauty.
🚤 Logistics & Timing
- Boat Departure: 6:00 PM from St Justinian
- Race Start: ~6:30 PM upon landing
- Finish & Return: Boats depart Ramsey Island around 8:30 PM
- Total Duration: ~2.5 hours including crossings
All boat transfers are included in your race entry.

🎒 What to Bring
- Trail running shoes with good grip
- Windproof running jacket
- Headtorch (In case of late return)
- Water bottle or hydration pack
- Warm layers for the boat ride

Ramsey Island is a protected nature reserve. Please respect wildlife, stay on marked trails, and follow all guidance from RSPB staff and race marshals.
💸 Entry Fee
£60 per runner Includes boat transfers, race support, RSPB access, and refreshments. (Donation to RSPB Charity)
