Swim to The Edge Series 2026

The Swim to the Edge Series 2026, comprises of taking on the two classic open water swims over a weekend. The STTE Series is a real open water swim challenge. The format and dates for 2025 are as below.

The Series comprise of 

• The Green Monster – Solva Swim approx. 2miles
• The Blue Monster – Abereiddy Swim 2.2 miles

The series was run on the weekend of 4th and 5th July 2026

Swim to the Edge Series 2026

The 2026 Swim to the Edge will consist of two swims. The Solva Green Monster and the Abereiddy Blue Monster. The Competitors can sign up individually and make best use of our deposit scheme running this year.

We will be running the same leader board and points system with an overall series winner.

• The Weather

We are well aware that the weather can spoil sea swims with very little notice. To try and combat this there are certain things we will put in place to try and ensure a meaningful swim takes place. Therefore when you sign up, You have to understand and accept that if the weather dictates the, The running order location or length of the swim maybe altered for safety purposes. Important Things to Note / Consider 

• Swimming in the sea deserves respect and you should train in the sea prior to entering any of our swimming events.
• Swimming events can be held in force 3 to 4 conditions, this creates a fair amount of chop, wind and swell for the swimmers. So ensure you experience similar conditions prior to entry.
• There will be safety cover on the swims that will attend to you if need be and to put you back on course if you stray off it. However this cover is not there to guide individuals around, you should be competent at sighting and composing yourself in deep water.
• Floats are optional as they are those that prefer them and those that don’t, plus floats are not always the best option in certain conditions such as stiff winds.
